I noticed a change in the quality of my cervical mucus during treatment. I feel that i do not discharge as much and it is always paste like in qualtiy. Is this normal?

It makes it hard for me to know if I am ovulating with all the paste like quality.

this is one of the side effects. Good news is that there are other ways of monitoring ovulation other than cervical mucus. I suggest BBT while mucus is in poor quality due to the meds.

I agree. You should just use other methods of monitoring. Aside from BBT, you can use an ovulation test.

though I never had this side effect, i guess it is different from woman to woman. I understand your concern as I also monitor my cervical mucus for changes since it is very easy to do so.

During ovulation, a woman's mucus is fine and may have the consistency of that egg white. On other days, the mucus is thick and sticky.

wife complained of this too. so we had to switch medication because she had vaginal dryness.

A woman, who is healthy has a good quality cervical mucus and it can only be acquired through careful and have good lifestyle.

I believe it is. There will always be side effects of treatment and women will react differently. Perhaps this is one of those side effects.

more side effects??? I suggest you back up your mucus method with other means of predicting ovulation like charting and BBT. This way even if your mucus does thicken you can still predict ovulation easily.
