just like the name entails, it is sort of like practice for the actual transfer of the embryos. Its easy you just have to lie down and the dr will insert a catether to measure the depth and direction of your uterus. if it were a real transfer then he would actually be transfering the eggs. |

Yes, IVF procedure has a mock transfer. And I agree with RamsesIII that this is good especially for the first timers. At least with a mock transfer you would know what to expect and the doctors have your stats regarding the direction and depth of the uterus. |
