is it true that soy isoflavones are a good alternative to Clomid?

Where do you get these?

Guinevere - September 17th, 2010 3:02 AM

Wow... this is cool... perhaps they can be found in soy milk... if you are not allergic to soy that is.

Lainie - September 17th, 2010 3:25 PM

good sources are soy nuts and tempeh.

I think both Clomid and soy isoflavones have a similar ingredient which stimulates FSH and causes the ovaries to release eggs.

Yes, it's already proven by others. It's also quite good than clomid because it doesn't have any side effect.

what is tempeh? I am allergic to soy though but this is good news to those who are able to ingest soy.

I heard that there is no ovarian overstimulation with soy isoflavones. Is this true?

Are all soy foods don't have any side effects or something like allergies could happen?

marcy - September 19th, 2010 3:02 AM

to candyKane;

Tempeh is made of soy so you still cant eat it because of your allergies! =)

Natural sources are good alternatives to manufactured ones. Also they cost less so this is good news Chole!

I read an article that soy foods needs to be avoided because it gives bad effect to fertility. But in this, it's a totally opposite one..which is which? I need some clarification?
