The effects of estrogen can be observed in the thickness of the uterus. When the estrogen concentration in the blood increases, estrogen stimulates an increase in the thickness of the uterus by increasing its blood supply. Does it helps in fertilization?

Yes Ma'am!

A thickened uterus makes it easy for the embryo to nest or implant itself. In a way, a thick embryo becomes the form of early nourishment for the teeny tiny baby.

I dont think the embryo will implant in a thin endometrial lining.

A thick endometrial lining means more blood supply for the growing embryo. this will make it easier for your baby to grow inside your womb.

Estrogen encourages endometrial thickening and implantation. Without estrogen, then it would be impossible to get pregnant.

If there is no estrogen then there would be menstration right?

Estrogen makes our uterine lining thicker. Once the lining is thick enough this will be conducive to an embryo being implanted to it. Once estrogen is stopped, progesterone makes the lining shed and we have menstruation.

Remember that your uterine lining serves as the nest for your egg. The more comfy your nest is the more viable for your egg to implant.

Estrogens are natural body substances with specific effects on the the body, which includes the growth and maintenance of the female reproductive system.
